The Digitisation Days took place during May 19th-20th, 2014, in Madrid, organized by the IMPACT Centre of competence in digitisation.
The conference consisted, on the one hand, of technical talks on developments in digitization and digital preservation, and on the other hand, an exhibition of companies in the sector.

At the closure of the conference, the writer Mario Vargas Llosa highlighted the work of the technology to recover the “immeasurable treasures” hidden in our libraries through digitization, digital preservation and dissemination of digital content.
